Edwin's exploits include a career in television and involvement with a controversial church which picks a wife for him...

Anybody interested in the internal workings of the Unification Church founded by Rev Sun Myung Moon and the motivations and mindset of those who become its devoted members will find plenty of valuable information in this thought-provoking fictionalised autobiography which casts a positive light on this controversial religious sect.

In this fictionalisation of the author's own life experiences we follow Edwin, our protagonist, around the world as he pursues a career in television production and encounters a variety of interesting people, also enjoying a number of romantic liaisons.

His profession indirectly leads to him becoming a member of the Unification Church (UC) founded by Reverend Sun Myung Moon. The church selects a wife for him and they are married in New York at a ceremony involving hundreds of other young couples.

In spite of its  unconventional origin, the marriage is  a lasting one and he and his wife go on to have a long and happy life together in spite of many difficulties to overcome. Their positive experience of what is often considered to be a controversial religious sect presents an interesting alternative to perceived wisdom.
